Sleep is Death is a story-telling computer game made by Jason Rohrer, in which one person is a player and the other person is a controller. The controller sets up scenes and objects, acts out the part of various characters and responds to player input while the player interacts with the controller's setting and story. The player and controller take turns (generally thirty to sixty seconds), the player responding to the controllers input and vice versa. A record is kept of each game in the form of a flipbook, something like a comic book, which allows other people to 'watch' or 'read' the game/story that took place between the player and the controller.
